5 Nursing-Friendly Christmas Styles

We’ve moved! Since creating this blog in 2017, we’ve launched Becoming Mama — artfully crafted fashions for bump to breastfeeding. Please visit our new blog for the latest and greatest. Happy mommy-ing!

After an overwhelming response to my 6 Thanksgiving Looks for Breastfeeding Moms, I wanted to bring you some more festive styles for the holidays. These cute looks will help you spend more time with your family and friends this Christmas, and less time hiding in that spare room breastfeeding!

Look: Cute and Comfy

Try:

  • Dress: Roolee ($48 – available in several colors and there’s a mini version for matching mother/daughter duos!)
  • Scarf: Mer-Sea ($29)
  • Booties: Dolce Vita (similar look, $60)

My Size: L

About this Look: Sometimes Christmas colors are too on-the-nose. What if you’re celebrating the holidays by the beach, or just someplace warm? This pale blue is perfect for any occasion you want to rock it for. The Roolee Beckett dress has an effortlessly chic look. And… nothing makes a dress better than hidden pockets! I’m wearing this with a Mer-Sea scarf for extra warmth and lovely texture. Rocking some classic suede booties to finish off the look!

Look: Preppy

Try:

My Size: Medium blouse, large skirt

About this Look: Is there any material that says Christmas more than red velvet? I love any excuse to rock rich fabrics like this so boldly. This stunning skirt is heavily discounted at Ivy City Co. Pair it with a classic blouse (any neutral will do!) for convenient nursing access. I’m styling with these Target mules because they are so easy to throw on and off when chasing a toddler around.

Look: Hipster

Try:

My Size: 10

About this Look: Replace your LBD with a LBJ (little black jumpsuit!). This piece is effortlessly stylish. While it doesn’t scream Christmas by any means, it’s a flattering and classic look for the day. Best part? It has pockets! The large front buttons make it easy to nurse in throughout the day. I’ve paired I with a simple geometric teething necklace – highlighted in my post on top gifts for nursing moms!

Look: Chic

Try:

My Size: Large jumpsuit

About this Look: I love the convenience of jumpsuits. One piece – so simple to style. This deep green is a festive but subdued color choice for Christmas. I’m loving these ankle strap micro suede heels to complete the look.

Look: Glam

Try: Ivy City Co. Dress ($75.00)

My Size: Large

About this Look: This is the most flattering dress I’ve ever owned. Honestly. It cinches around your waist perfectly, hits at a modest mid-calf length, and has flowing sleeves that cover my upper arms. And I feel like a celebrity in it. I was so thankful this dress came in just in time for our family photos – where we captured my favorite photo of all time. I’ve paired this dress with the Target heels mentioned above.
